At a local movie theater with a friend, going to see The Debt. As I prepared my movie popcorn by adding the requisite "lesbian" brewer's yeast, I saw the butch. I decided to ask her if I could take her picture (and told her how great she looked too).
An excellent interaction. I said it was great to see a butch out and about (or something like that). She thanked me.
